i'm happy to say that my drawing has picked up again! my hand feels really well. so yay!

MANDATE is high fantasy court intrigue in something resembling dynastic china. the game has not started yet and we are recruiting new players with original handling of character development and a good sense of style in their writing.

additional recruitment information:

mandate is a high fantasy roleplay with a focus on writing and original character development. the main focus of the story is court intrigue. we may use real people to give a visual representation of our characters, but this is NOT a celebrity AU roleplay.

we do not discriminate against gays, straights, lesbians, genderqueers, trannies, bananas, or giant robots. we believe a character should be defined by more than its sexuality-- therefore, MANDATE is not slash, het, or otherwise. we as writers value style and story above all else, and for this reason, it is best if we keep our player base at 17+ to ensure the maturity of all involved. we are always accepting new players to integrate into our world.

we accept members after an informal audition. your audition is your interactions with the moderators and your initial profile writeup. because we are a game focused on writing and character development, we do not accept players who we feel lack the linguistic capabilities to be competitive in this environment. no hard feelings. :]
